Is Islam Really Conservative?

As we all know - Muslims like to portray Islam as a conservative religion. But is it really? If you think about it, no -- not really. If you look at a country where there is a large Muslim population you will see many of them voting democratic and having a revolutionary view on the government. The Qu'ran does command Muslims to be “disobedient towards the unbelievers and their governments and strive against the unbelievers with great endeavor.” (Koran 25:52) In fact, Islam can probably fit perfectly with the anti-government lyrics of the rock band Rage against the Machine.

Look at all the people that support Islam. QUIT! or Queers Undermining Israeli Terrorism states on their website: "Like all people of conscience, we in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities are deeply concerned about the use of our tax dollars to support the violent, repressive and racist regime in Israel. "

They refuse to support the Israeli government and "the construction of exclusively Jewish settlements and the closure of the occupied territories, which threatens the health, safety and economic stability of the entire Palestinian population. "

They want to "end all financial and military aid to Israel." They try to be balanced and say that they "don’t support attacks on unarmed [Israeli] civilians. At the same time it must be understood that it is the right of any occupied people to resist and fight for their freedom, in fact it is their duty. " and "the 500 Palestinians killed since September 2000, nearly all have been civilians. The majority of the 100 Israelis killed in the same period have been soldiers." I am not saying that the Israeli soldiers are perfect, but at least the Israeli government takes responsibility for its wrongdoings. We do know that the Palestinian side is far more brutal and does not take responsibility for their actions. So I assume that QUIT! would have no sympathy for the Sargent Nir Kahane who was murdered by getting stabbed in his neck by a Palestinian in cold blood.

Noam Chomsky is another great example. Here's a man who opposes the U.S's "war on drugs" and capitalism. In an interview, Noam said that "we should recognize that the policies of Hamas are more forthcoming and more conducive to a peaceful settlement than those of the United States or Israel." When we hear words like this I can't help but think that the revolutionary views of the far left are no different then those of Islam.

The North American Man/Boy Love Association has stated that they wish to "end the oppression of men and boys who have freely chosen mutually consenting relationships," (Radow, Roy (1994). 'NAMBLA Replies to ILGA Secretariat.) Yes, many Muslims oppose homosexuality -- but not in the afterlife which contains "boys of perpetual freshness: if thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls" (Koran 76:19) and "Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded. " (Koran 52:24) These verses are in the Qu'ran in order to please the homosexuals who are martyred or want to be martyred. To prove my point of Arabia's homosexuality, here is the poem Perfumed Garden by Abu Nuwas: "A lad whom all can see girt with sword and belt not like your whore who has to go veiled.Make for smooth-faced boys and do your very best to mount them, for women are the mounts of the devils."

Yes we know of Islam's extreme sexism. Islam's prophet of Islam - Muhammad even said (speaking of a vision in which he saw hell-fire): "But the companions of the Fire were ordered to be taken to the Fire. Then I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that the majority of those who entered it were women." (Volume 7, Book 62, Number 124, Narrated Usama.) But is feminism or "women's lib" immune to criticism? Interesting story, when I was about thirteen-years old I asked my far-left art teacher Mr. Gross: "If the whole world turned gay then how would the population increase?" He replied with this: "Easy! Sperm insemination." So while the whole world is homosexual, the earth would need some female body factories to keep up the population, how feminist of him! The Bible talks about the spirit of misogyny as satanic: "And I will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15) With all the psychological, birth, and emotional problems abortion can have, the pro-choice advocates will support abortion to the death.
Also with misogyny, Aleister Crowley is one of history's greatest Satan worshippers. He was a drug addict, a hater of Jesus Christ, and a fanatic Muslim. He once wrote: ". . . it [anal intercourse with men] . . . avoids contact with inferior planes [women and babies--families]; that it is self-sufficient, that it involves no responsibilities, and that it leaves its masters not only stronger in themselves, but wholly free to fulfill their essential Nature." (Magick in Theory and Practice cap IV, fn. p 27.)

I bet Mr. Crowley would read with delight (since he loved to recite the Qu'ran) what the Qu'ran says: "Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them [So its all about the money]. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them." (Surah 4:35)
Contrary to the Bible where it reads: "Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them." (Colossians 3:19)

Also in the Bible, Jesus says that He hates divorce: "Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery." (Mark 10:11-12)

Where in Islam, it takes a more liberal stance:

"Aisha said that the lady came wearing a green veil and complained to her (Aisha) and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating. It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah's messenger came, Aisha said, 'I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!' When Abdur-Rahman heard that his wife had gone to the prophet, he came with his two sons from another wife. She said, 'By Allah! I have done no wrong to him, but he is impotent and is as useless to me as this,' holding and showing the fringe of her garment. Abdur-Rahman said, 'By Allah, O Allah's messenger! She has told a lie. I am very strong and can satisfy her, but she is disobedient and wants to go back to Rifaa.' Allah's messenger said to her, 'If that is your intention, then know that it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifaa unless Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you.'"
But don't get me wrong. Islam has its conservative values of women dressing modestly, and so does Christianity - which goes back to my point - the far left feminist and others of the left don't seem to care about Islam's female veil on account that the Muslims and the far-left have the same mission -- to destroy Christianity.

Its much like what the well-known Darwinist John Maynard Smith once stated writing on Stephen Jay Gould (another Darwinist):

"Gould occupies a rather curious position, particularly on his side of the Atlantic. Because of the excellence of his essays, he has come to be seen by non-biologists as the preeminent evolutionary theorist. In contrast, the evolutionary biologists with whom I have discussed his work tend to see him as a man whose ideas are so confused as to be hardly worth bothering with, but as one who should not be publicly criticized because he is at least on our side against the creationists." (The New York Review, November 30, 1995.)
