Islam Is Like Smoking Marijuana

By Theodore Shoebat

The reason why I wrote the title (Islam Is Like Smoking Marijuana) is because of the suicidal tendencies both marijuana and Islam can bring to somebody and to a society (ex: the west bank, Gaza strip, you already know).

Here are some of the statistics the article ("Media Campaign Fact Sheets Marijuana and Mental Health.")brought to knowledge:

Teens age 12 to 17 who smoke marijuana weekly are three times more likely than non-users to have thoughts about committing suicide.

Some research shows that marijuana use can precede symptoms of depression. Girls (ages 14–15) who used marijuana daily were five times more likely to face depression at age 21. Weekly use among all teens studied doubled the risk for depression.

A study of adults found that marijuana use quadrupled the risk of later major depression.

A study of 1,265 children over a 21-year period found that marijuana use, particularly heavy or regular use, was associated with later increases in depression, suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts.

Past-year marijuana use has been linked to social withdrawal, anxiety, depression, attention problems and thoughts of suicide in adolescents.

Research with twins found that the twin who was dependent on marijuana was almost three times more likely to think about suicide and attempt suicide than his/her non-marijuana dependent co-twin.

Among men suffering from schizophrenia, those who had used marijuana were much more likely to experience their first psychotic episode at an early age.

A recent study found that that the earlier the use of marijuana (age 15 vs. age 18), the greater the risk of schizophrenia.

A study published in 2005 found that regular use of marijuana may double the risk of developing psychotic disorders and that marijuana causes chemical changes to the brain. The study maintains that smoking marijuana causes symptoms even when other factors are taken into consideration.

Also, In an article written by World Net Daily called "Palestinian children 'dream of martyrdom'":

A Palestinian psychologist claims that more than half of Palestinian children aged 6 to 11 dream of becoming suicide bombers,

The documentary says Dr. Shafiq Massalha conducted a study that has led him to conclude that "in about 10 years, a very murderous generation will come of age, full of hatred and ready to die in suicide missions," the Israeli National News Service reported.

In the film titled "Seeds of Hate," the narrator says: "In a society in which the legitimization of child murderers becomes a part of its ideology, then normative human morality no longer exists. Which moral rules shall these children pass onto their children when they in turn become parents?"

The scene moves to Arab men yelling and holding up pieces of human organs with a child's loud voice in the background saying, "I will eat the flesh of my conqueror."

The Independent said Massalha, with the assistance of teachers and social workers, distributed notebooks in the spring of 2001 to a random sample of 150 boys and girls aged 10 and 11. The psychologist asked the children to record their dreams every morning for 10 days and to illustrate them.

He found 78 percent of the dreams were political and tended to be physically violent.

"Suicide is a sickness, and [the terrorist leaders] are using it for perverse political ends," he said. "The increasing suicide actions, which receive support and admiration amongst Muslim youth in general and Palestinian youth in particular, have become one of our most dangerous social and psychological phenomena. …"

Do you see the similarities? Do you want your society to become violent and suicidal like it is in the Muslim world? If not then quit this tolerance toward marijuana - which is in my opinion - the worst drug on the list!

Cannabis cash 'funds Islamist terrorism'

Alex Duval Smith
in Paris The Observer,
Sunday May 13 2007 Article history

Cannabis smokers are unwittingly funding Islamist extremists linked to terror attacks in Spain, Morocco and Algeria, according to a joint investigation by the Spanish and French secret services. The finding will be seized on both by campaigners for a harsher clampdown on cannabis and by those who argue that legalisation is the only way to end a petty dealing trend that is dragging growing numbers of teenagers into crime.
The investigation by the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia and the Renseignements Generaux was launched after Spanish police found that the Islamists behind the March 2004 bombings in Madrid bought their explosives from former miners in return for blocks of hashish. The bombings claimed 191 lives.

The Drug-Terrorist Link Means Wars can Last Indefinitely

By Douglas Farah

From The CounterTerrorismBlog

The Brits are finally willing to lay out some of the truths about the war in Afghanistan, truths that apply in many other parts of the world, in a pattern that we continue to see growing.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a confidential report to the prime minister concludes that the drug trade will prolong the Taliban insurgency idenfinitely:

"Growing links between the drugs trade and the insurgency in the South will provide longevity to the Taliban," the UK document says. "In the south, the drugs trade is fuelling the insurgency."

It adds: "This is compounded by government corruption. Karzai chooses to avoid rocking the boat with powerful narco figures and has not blocked their appointment as governors or other senior officials."

In turn, Mr Karzai's failure to tackle corruption and the drug lords "only increases popular disillusion," further boosting the insurgency, the paper says.

In fact, almost half (19 of 43) foreign terrorist organizations designated by the United States have clear ties to drug trafficking networks, according to law enforcement studies.

Once the initial ideological or theological obstacles have been overcome in participating in the drug trade, terrorist organizations tend to dominate the structure in short order. This is true with the FARC in Colombia, the Taliban in Afghanistan/Pakistan, Hezbollah in the heroin trade when it was massively involved there in the last decade, and elsewhere. ...

Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali: Radical Islam is filling void left by collapse of Christianity in UK

By Martin Beckford, Religious Affairs Correspondent

The decline of Christian values is destroying Britishness and has created a "moral vacuum" which radical Islam is filling, one of the Church of England's leading bishops has warned.

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, claimed the "social and sexual" revolution of the 1960s had led to a steep decline in the influence of Christianity over society which church leaders had failed to resist.

He said that in its place, Britain had become gripped by the doctrine of "endless self-indulgence" which had led to the destruction of family life, rising levels of drug abuse and drunkenness and mindless violence on the streets.

The bishop warns that the modern politicians' catchphrases of respect and tolerance will not be strong enough to prevent this collapse of traditional virtues, and said radical Islam is now moving in to fill the void created by the decline of Christianity.

Many Popular Drugs Linked to Suicide

Date Published: Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Suicide is common in the US, representing the fourth leading cause of death for those aged 18 to 65 and the third leading cause for those aged 15 to 24. Add to those figures the complexity of medications. In recent years, disturbing reports have suggested that side effects of some popular drugs - such as Chantix, Accutane, Singular and Paxil - include suicidal thoughts and behavior.

Reports have been filed with drug makers and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on at least six drugs or drug classes that may be linked to suicide or suicidal thoughts. Recently, the FDA released notices about several such medications including Singlulair; Epilepsy drugs including carbamazepine, gabapentin, felbamate, lamotrigine, levetiracetam, oxcarbazepine, pregabalin, and valproate; and the smoking-cessation drug Chantix. Reports have been filed on SSRI antidepressants including Paxil and Prozac, the influenza drug Tamiflu, and the acne medicine Accutane. “The brain is a complex organ, and most of the drugs are complex as well,’’ says Dr. Thomas Laughren, head of the division of psychiatric products at the FDA. “It’s not unreasonable to think that a drug that gets into the brain may have effects other than you hope they would.’’

Kelly Posner, principal investigator at the Center for Suicide Risk Assessment at Columbia University in New York, is working with the FDA to determine suicide risks and at-risk categories; Posner’s quantitative tools and questionnaires are being applied to drugs on the market and in testing. “We know that whether or not these drugs actually cause suicidal thought or action is a question we have to answer, but up until now, none of the clinical trials for the drugs were set up to address the question,’’ says Posner.

‘Medical’ marijuana is snake oil remedy

David Taylor and Jeanette McDougal, Duluth News Tribune
Published Sunday, April 27, 2008

Most Minnesota government officials want the best possible health and safety measures for their fellow citizens. Legalizing as medicine marijuana cigarettes not approved by the Food and Drug Administration or Minnesota Health Department is not such a measure.

What is called “medical marijuana” is a toxic, tar-laden weed used in various forms (cigarettes, bowls, bongs and brownies ). Users generally are seeking the “high-producing” chemical, tetrahydrocannabinol — THC — one of the 66 bio-active chemicals (cannabinoids) found only in marijuana. THC pills have been available by medical prescription for at least 20 years. Do we really need a THC cigarette when a THC pill is legally and medically available?

Smoking a weed for medicine is the pharmacological equivalent of eating moldy bread for penicillin or eating poppy seeds for morphine. All contain contaminants, and none in their raw form is approved for safety and efficacy by the FDA.

Physicians worldwide — in the United States, England, Holland, and especially Canada — are concerned about their liability, should harm result to their patients.

Pot Heads In Colorado

Thanks to dailycamera

The beating drums reminds me of what pagans do to worship baal moloch. We are pretty much seeing earth worshipping pagans smoking something that will cause their brain to get schizophrenia. Like Michael Savage has said, only a mental disorder could cause this kind of behaviour.

Philippine militant group may be using drug money

By Manny Mogato

MANILA (Reuters) - The Philippines' most notorious Islamic militant group may be guarding marijuana plantations and protecting drug lords to finance their operations, the head of the country's anti-drug agency said on Monday.

"Our latest discoveries of marijuana plantations were on the islands of Basilan and Jolo, indicating the Abu Sayyaf Group may have gotten into the drug business," said Anselmo Avenido, chairman of the Dangerous Drugs Board, in an interview with Reuters.

The Abu Sayyaf, which is entrenched on Jolo and Basilan on the southern tip of the Philippines, has been blamed for the country's worst terrorist attack, the bombing of a ferry near Manila Bay in 2004 that killed 100 people.

Drug Money For Hezbollah?

Evidence gathered by the Drug Enforcement Administration since a series of raids in January indicates that a methamphetamine drug operation in the Midwest involving men of Middle Eastern descent has been shipping money back to terrorist groups, officials said.

"There is increasing intelligence information from the investigation that for the first time alleged drug sales in the United States are going in part to support terrorist organizations in the Middle East," DEA administrator Asa Hutchinson said.

MADRID, Spain (AP) — Terrorists who carried out the Madrid train bombings were members of a autonomous cell who may have had ties with fundamentalists elsewhere but got their financing chiefly from drug profits, the interior minister said Wednesday.

Navy Seizes Hashish; Sees Ties to Al Qaeda

Paris The Observer,

The United States Navy seized two tons of hashish and detained three men it said had ties to Al Qaeda when it halted and boarded a boat in the Persian Gulf on Monday, military officials announced Friday.

''An initial investigation uncovered clear ties between the smuggling operation and Al Qaeda,'' the Navy said in a statement.

This is another good article that I found on the dangers of marijuana to society. Muslim terrorists are selling marijuana and hashish - corrupting our society from within, and teenagers in school our supporting them by baying their mind-frying plant.

Cannabis raises risk of psychosis

Frequent cannabis use during adolescence and young adulthood raises the risk of psychotic symptoms later in life, research suggests.

The risk was much higher in young people who were already genetically vulnerable to developing psychosis.

...After adjusting for factors such as social and economic status and use of other drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, the researchers found cannabis use moderately increased the risk of psychotic symptoms.

"It is time to ensure that this information is in the public domain and, most importantly, available to teachers who are health educators in schools." - Dinah Morley

This is a subject that I feel is very important to stress on - please click on the title of this post to read the whole story and learn about the evils and the destruction of a society that comes from tolereance toward marijuana.

tolerance toward marijuana is exactly like being tolerant toward Islamic fundamentalism.

Also, please look at the two michael savage clips below - both are on the subject of marijuana.
